TUR’s Plum Cake is majorly sweetened with Dates (which we pit ourselves by hand), and Jaggery, and rest of the sweetness comes from the fresh orange juice and Khandsari (Desi Khand).

Natural Vanilla Extract extracted from Real Bourbon Vanilla Pods. We don’t use artificial essences that are made in a lab.

The cakes in the market use whipping cream mixed with refined sugar and other things as their frosting. Simply because it’s readily available, very convenient to work with, budget friendly, adopt to any flavours from those artificial essences, and of course tastes amazingly good, right?
But at The Unrefined Ritual, we believe that all of it should not come at the cost of your health.

Most whipping creams now being used in the market are not even creams, they are just hydrogenated fats blended along with some weirdly sounding ingredients, some necessary emulsifiers and stabilizers (for that stability), and a whole lot of artificial flavours (ab taste bhi toh chahiye na)

So choosing extra time & efforts over mere convenience of putting more chemicals on your plate, we make a 100% natural cream cheese frosting made the simplest of the ingredients like Milk, Fresh Cream, Lemon Juice, Khandsari, Natural Vanilla Extract & a pinch of salt.
